UPDATE: Please note, that we now officially support fritz.mac Suite as the preferred connection to AVM Fritz!Box devices. We offer a notification script for FoneConnector for handling inbound calls and there’s also a dialer script for outgoing calls for our free AppleScript Dialer. To set up FoneConnector with fritz.mac Suite, please follow the below instructions for Dial!Fritz, sections 3.4.1 and 3.4.2. Then open fritz.mac Suite -> Preferences -> Monitor Actions and select the FoneConnector integration script (link below) to be triggered for incoming calls on the desired phone lines - that’s it!

3.4 Configuring Dial!Fritz Phone Plugin
Requirements:- A license of Dial!Fritz
- A compatible Fritz!Box from AVM
(see Dial!Fritz documentation). The Fritz!Box is a very popular DSL/Modem/Router/WiFi/Voip/Telephony/Fax-in/Media-Server-Box in Germany, often sold in conjunction with 1&1-DSL & Telephony contracts (see our 1&1 affiliate shop)
- Dial!Fritz must be installed, running and working with your Fritz!Box (regardless of FoneConnector)
- Dial!Fritz should display incoming calls with the caller's phone number
- Configure Dial!Fritz as a startup item to launch when you start your Mac.
Outbound dialer available too: Dial!Fritz meets Daylite
We are offering an optional outbound dialer for Daylite too based on Dial!Fritz. Please e-mail us, if you are interested in obtaining a license.
For currently supported FoneConnector features please check the appropriate tab:

3.4.1. Add the Dial!Fritz Phone Plugin in FoneConnector -> Preferences -> Phones

3.4.2. Give it a name (optional)

If you are using fritz.mac Suite, simply add "fritz.mac Suite" as a name.
3.4.3. Create a folder (name it as you like) somewhere on your Mac.
Not needed if you are using fritz.mac Suite.
Click and drag the Script-icon into this folder.
This saves an AppleScript called »Daylite DialFritz.scpt« into this folder.

3.4.4. Adjust Dial!Fritz Preferences
Not needed if you are using fritz.mac Suite.
Open Dial!Fritz Preferences from the top menu bar in the Finder (look for the small phone symbol):

Choose a previously configured location:

Make sure that »Activate FritzBox Call monitor« is checked under the »Call monitor« tab.

3.4.5. Configure Dial!Fritz Notifications
Not needed if you are using fritz.mac Suite.
Switch to the »Actions« tab in Dial!Fritz Preferences, click the plus-sign + in the lower left ...

... and select the »Daylite DialFritz.scpt« from the folder you created in step 3.5.3:

Make sure that »Ring« is checked under Start Script -> Incoming call.
3.4.6. Now call a phone number that is configured in your Fritz!Box
If everything is set up correctly Dial!Fritz should trigger the FoneConnector AppleScript above, which in turns triggers FoneConnector in Daylite with the caller's phone number, performs a lookup in the Daylite database and opens a Call Window in Daylite.
