3.3 Configuring PhoneValet Phone Plugin

Requirements:

• PhoneValet
   
• PhoneValet must be installed and working as your telephony system
   
• PhoneValet should display incoming calls with the caller's phone number

For currently supported FoneConnector features please check the appropriate tab:



3.3.1. Add the PhoneValet Phone Plugin in FoneConnector -> Preferences -> Phones

           


3.3.2. Give it a name (optional)

         


3.3.3 Click on »Install PhoneValet script«



The result should look like this:




3.3.4 Define incoming call script

Start PhoneValet and select Preferences -> AppleScripts from the PhoneValet menu bar:

         

This opens the AppleScripts setup window. Check the »Daylite Ring.scpt« and click the »Save« button




You are now ready to use FoneConnector along with PhoneValet - just call the phone line that is connected to the PhoneValet modem to test it.
